What makes a postcard work

- The mailing panel left white for USPS.
USPS rules we check for you
- Size. EDDM pieces must be flats. We print 6.25 x 9, 8.5 x 7, 8.5 x 11, 8.5 x 12, 9 x 12, and 8.5 x 14. A 4 x 6 card does not qualify.
- Bleed. 0.125 inch past the trim on every side.
- Safe zone. Words and logos 0.25 inch inside the trim.
- Photos. 300 pixels per inch at print size.
- Mailing panel. A 4.5 x 2.75 inch white box on the back, top right. We add the postage mark and “Local Postal Customer”.

Paper and finish
- 14 pt gloss: our standard. Sturdy, shiny on both sides.
- 16 pt gloss: extra thick, feels premium. Popular with real estate and dental.
- 14 pt matte: no shine, easy to read.
- UV gloss front: extra shine that makes colors pop.
